| Jan Heying, founder of Heying & Associates,
is a public relations professional with more than 20 years of experience
in the industry.
Heying is a frequent lecturer at local civic and charity organizations,
universities, State Bar and American Bar Conferences and has authored
numerous articles on public relations and marketing. An active member
in the community, she has served on the American Lung Association
Board of San Diego/Imperial Counties, San Diego Press Club, Gaslamp
Quarter Foundation Board, Partners for Livable Places and chaired
the State Bar of California's Standing Committee on Lawyer Referral
and Information Services. She currently serves on the Partnership
in Education Advisory Board.
Under her direction, the firm has won numerous awards including
the coveted CAG Gold Award, the most highly recognized design award
for San Diego agencies, in addition to San Diego Press Club J Awards,
Health Marketing Awards, PR Club of San Diego Awards of Excellence,
and the LAMMIES (Legal Advertising and Marketing Awards).
A graduate of San Diego State University's Journalism Department,
