Heather Shearer, account executive, plays an integral role at H&A.  A true communicator at heart, she is a creative, savvy and results-driven public relations professional.

Heather is responsible for overseeing project coordination and manages cross-functional teams to include clients, designers and vendors.  She focuses her efforts in media relations, developing news releases and securing coverage for clients in local and national media.  She also heads the agency’s new media division which includes development and implementation of social media strategies, blogger relations and website management.

Prior to joining H&A, Heather gained valuable client service and media relations experience through positions at PainePR, where she worked in-house at Sony Electronics Inc., and Formula PR.

Heather is an honors graduate of San Diego State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication, with an emphasis in public relations.  An explorer by nature, Heather is the office authority on the newest hot spots in San Diego.
